Practical Experience
I have specialised as a bereavement and life-limiting illness counsellor and had lots of clinical experience in general counselling. I see individuals and help them to meet their personal needs through supporting them through their personal circumstances. I help people through the process of making adjustments and accepting changes in their lives.
I initially trained to work with children and worked in schools. I counselled children and worked for a children's bereavement charity as well as counselling students in a university setting.
I worked within the voluntary sector within a local branch of a national charity. Ciurrently, I work for a national charity providing online bereavement counselling as well as a working privately.
